Who are they?

West Suffolk Hospitals NHS Trust is a medium sized acute NHS Trust based in Bury St. Edmunds. They provide inpatient and outpatient services to the West of Suffolk, with outpatient services also being provided in surrounding towns and villages.

PostCoder Batch is an integral part of the Allies Billing and Statistics system (ABS) which is used by the Trust to produce data on episodes of patient care (Commissioning Data Sets). The correct Postcode for each patient is a mandatory field in these datasets, and PostCoder Batch ensures that this is always up to date.
