PCGRIDS matches Ordnance Survey Address Point data with the Royal Mail Postcode Address File (PAF®) Database to take OS Grid References at Individual Premise Level and attach them to your postal address files.
The program has two modes of operation:
Create Lookup Files
This process takes Address Point Data files and builds PCGrids look up files which are designed to give speedy access to the Grid Reference data for any postal address.
Apply Grid References
The Apply Grid References process can be used to add the information created in the look up files to appropriately formatted address data files.
This software is used in conjunction with our PostCoder API Professional or PostCoder Pro and requires access to Ordnance Survey's Address Point Data.
